Months ago I thought I could never attend a single kung fu lesson.
Now I’m proud to say I love it and I’m doing pretty well, people change their minds sometimes ![]()
Well… honestly sometimes it’s really hard, since it requires a lot of patience and precision, not to mention how much a good memory is needed to remember all the steps and moves… something I really don’t have ![]()
But all in all it’s something really good for the mind and the body.
The way of kung fu
Video trace
Here’s what I call something that is simply ingenious:
Video trace can help you recreating a 3D object from a live footage thanks to the camera motion tracking system moves the objects you recreat according to what it understands from the footage.
This reminds me of Zbrush, wich is something that revolutioned the 3D modeling world…
Unfortunately Video trace is only beta but more info can be found here.
Happy new year!
Have a great 2008!
In 2008 we’ll turn on the engine, pool of our brillant ideas, moment of video delight and relax, enjoyable party time, different perspective… from the description I’d say it can’t even be labeled as a job… it will be something a little different or at least we hope so. ![]()
Soon.

…so long 2007!
Lately I’ve been thinking how significant has been this year…
Many changes has happened in my life and things got better while time passed: many new friends, a lot of work with many nice people, new music and probably a new band, a couple of new courses to light up the week, a new work project that will born in 2008 and last very very long and last but not least… love.
And this year is about to end.
So long and thank you 2007, but I won’t miss you ’cause I already know that 2008 will be great ![]()
…Back and ready to roll!
Adventures never stop and so, coming back from Berlin, was exactly the natural process of the story.
A small delay on the first of the two flights and we lost the second, running like hell after a plane that was already gone, then, a few minutes later, standing in line to get a simple answer: HOTEL.
Oh… Ok…
But who cares? Berlin has been such a great experience, we had great time, met cool people and seen a lot of interesting movies at Pictoplasma, we ate a lot of sushi and indian food and talk a lot about the future projects.
I think that everything begins here.

:)

Berlin, just you wait!
…’cause we are coming very soon!
For the annual Pictoplasma, me and a couple of friends are going to take a peek into the world of animation in the wonderful city of Berlin.
We’ll take a few days of pure tourism and spend the last ones at the convention.
I honestly look forward to it!

Sushi time!!!
We managed to have a sushi dinner in HS-studio a couple of weeks ago. What started as “ok, me and Ale we’ll start making sushi at 5 p.m.” turned out as a big collaboration work as everybody arrived placed in line to give a hand on preparing the sushi. And… well… being honest, I think it was delicious not to mention the fun we had in making it! Arigatoo!
It’s been a while!
Hey, this is supposed to be a blog… It should be an updated one… uhm……
By the way I am a bit more free now so I’ll use this free time in a constructive way:
-After Effects tutorials (thanks to Andrew Kramer here)
-Flash Actionscript lessons (Lee Brimelow knows hot to teach)
-Lot of research on the web, for graphic styles, interesting videos and exhibitions. (I put many different RSS from the world of design in my Netvibes page)
Because, you know, life on the internet is rhater fast and so design changes quickly.
-Writing a bit more on this blog ![]()
-Meeting with creative people, for my secret projects on how to conquer the world!
